3. Why I Never Want to Get Married?

I see everyone in my class choose to get married and nobody would like to be single. Maybe my reasons can make you change.

I ever thought that I wanted to get married with a person who is similar to me in some ways: personalities, interests and different in others: age, education, etc. because I know nobody perfect at all and me too. I don't need a man that is handsome and rich but I need a person who is good, responsibility, calm, trustful, consistent and the most important he isn't gallant. Is there a person like this? Maybe. I think everyone is waiting for someone who's right for you and be with you always. I think so but the things that made me change my thinking are television, newspapers and magazines. There are many famous people have to divorce and separate though they got married for a long time and have children. They usually tell mass medias that "We don't have times for each other." I think this isn't the real reason. Maybe they have more reason that hard to tell other people or they find a new person that is better. I think getting married is a pain. If you get a good partner, you can raise your family happily but if you get not, you will get in trouble because I think most men's behavior before and after married are not the same such as before marriage they don't like to drink alcohol and smoke but after maybe they do because they want to make their society until they addicted. If you get married and have children, you will have more expense about diets, appliances, clothing, toys, children's education, etc. that made you have a problem about financial. In addition, you have to look after your family until you don't have times to take care yourself and your parents. When you want to do or buy something, you have to consult with your partner. Everything depends on your family.

I don't want to get married because I don't want to look after anyone in my family especially my children. I think it's very hard to teach them to be good. The world is changing and there are problems about economy, moral, crime, etc. By the way, I would like to have times to do my own things that I interest. I have no responsibilities to anyone else but myself and my mother. In my family, there are my mother and me because my father died and my relatives got married and live with their partner. I would like to take care my mother because she has to work hard since I was born so I want her to take a rest. In the future I want to get a good job and make as much money as possible to support my family. I want to get the life that I want. I think my mother want the same. If I get problems I have my mother, relatives and my close friends to be with me always and give me good advice. I think I never be alone!

In short, you don't need to believe me if you think being married and having children bring you happiness. Then you should not have to change your thinking.

2. Reading Adulthood

In the past, when I was a kid, I didn't have to do or to be responsible for anything. I played, studied, did my homework and household chores a little bit. But I have to do everything that my parents asked. They always complained me when I bought toys and candy or anything that I liked. My mother usually punished me when I was naughty. I can’t do what I want. I can’t say everything because it depends on my parents. I was so bored. When I grown up, my parents hardly ever did like that. I think being adults are able to do anything that they interest more than childhood and adolescence. They can choose their own choices. Everything doesn't depend on their parents. I think adult status is the most suitable for get married. I know any age can do. If teenagers or a person who is between 13- 19 get married, people may think they are "Early ripe, early rotten." or their partner is pregnant. In addition, adults can get a job easily because people may think they have more experiences, ability and patience. In otherwise; when we reach adult status, we have to think about our future plans: family life, education, career, marriage, etc. Besides, we have to do: taxes, cooking, cleaning, paying bills and some adults learn how to live without their parents. We have to be responsible and devote for our career. And if we are a teacher, we may get in trouble. We must get a lot of homework: tests to correct and classes to prepare. We have to spend more time at our ‘homework’ than the students we teach. Does everybody agree with me? Right now, I worry that I won't get a job because I'm small and thin, people may think I'm not able to control classes and the school in my hometown want people who have more experiences. I am very stressed. My friends always encourage me to be confident for my ability and I will get a job. I hope it will be like that. Sometime I think if I get a job out of my town, I must learn how to live without my parents. I will feel lonely but I just do it. My future plans, I would like to get a job that fitting with my major and interests because I can do it well.

1. Teaching Experiences

I taught Mathayom 3 at Princess Sirindhorn College. The first time that I went to school, I was very scared because I was not sure that I could teach and control my students. Then I consulted with my co-teacher and shared the ideas. She gave me some good advices about teaching and control students. She told me that I had to speak aloud, to be confident and strict. I brought her advices to use in my class so made me had more confident when I was in front of the class and I could control my class.
I like my co-teacher because she is generous, polite, respectable, optimistic and considerate. The most important she isn’t bossy and fussy. She took care me like her daughter but she is single. She taught me to do school children’s report books and all of works about adviser. Although she gave me a lot of works but I thought she wanted me practice to be a teacher in the future. She commented me about my teaching every period that I taught so I could improve my teaching better. In addition she taught me the experiences about her teaching life, being teacher, how to control students, how to make relationship with other people, etc. that I can use in my real life. In my teaching I could practice grammar and vocabulary because when I was going to teach my students, I must have the knowledge about the lesson that I would like to teach so I could learn grammar and vocabulary with my students. Then I learnt about activities such as games and songs from textbook that can use in my teaching.
I like my students because they are lovely and punctual in my class. There are some students that didn't pay attention to me so I asked them stood up and answered my questions about the lesson that they have learnt. This punishment made students had more pay attention. Some students asked me when they didn't understand the lesson. There are many kinds of my students that I had to adjust myself with them. However I still think of my students.
In the school, there are many foreigners teacher that come from various countries such as Philippine, China, Australia, America, etc. I can practice my speaking and listening with them. In addition, I could ask them about pronouncing and meaning of the vocabulary and phrases or idioms. I had them correct my writing lesson plans and the example of sentences that I composed my own. So I can improve my writing and speaking better. That is good way to practice my English.
