6. Don’t be a Slave to Fashion

I know everybody would like to be fashionable like famous people or superstar, especially Korean tends. Many people, especially female teenagers want to be fashionable by wearing expensive clothes and accessories. These are nonsense for me because it is just because something is fashionable and looks great on one person, it doesn’t mean it will look great on everybody. I think some fashions are unsuitable for Thai culture such as wearing a short skirt, sexy blouses, and etc.
If you would like to be fashionable, you should be on your own style. You must choose to wear clothes that show your individuality, interests and real personality instead of wearing clothes that may illicit obscene and unnecessary misconceptions about you.
Finally, I would like to tell everybody that “Don’t simply focus on current fashion trends and styles of the moment, you should be yourselves.”

5. Let's Prepare Your Meal With Fresh Ingredients

I strongly agree with the point of view that people in earlier times ate better the food was more nutritious than what most people now eat. I think people in nowadays like eating fast food, tinned & canned foods, fried foods, frozen foods, and junk food. These types of food are high in calories or saturated fat and they don’t have nutritious which cause people face problems about dietary. Furthermore, They contain with chemical such as formalin that made foods are fresh, found in frozen foods, monosodium glutamate that made foods are delicious, found in general foods, food dyes that made foods look tasty, carcinogen, etc. These can caused people risk of diabetes, obesity, heart disease, cancer, and other illness. Most people buy these types of food because it is convenient, delicious, and cheap. Moreover, it is easier than to prepare a meal. People concern convenience, taste, and price more than their health.

In the past, I liked eating fast food because I was a terrible cook, I did not have time to cook and I was bored the meals that my mother did. I liked eating fast food because it was delicious, cheap and more comfortable than prepare a meal. I never used to think about its disadvantage and my health. My mother told me about the effect from fast food but I never obeyed until I was in high school, I took a class in nutrition and I started to become much more aware of what I was eating. I’m a vegetarian now too.

4. Reading the Minnesota Starvation Experiment


After reading the Minnesota Starvation Experiment, I think this experiment was good preparation for the starving people in areas of the war. The experiment helped the researcher knew how to deal and understand starvation. Furthermore, the participants whom selected could take more courses, activities, and experience during the experiment. They could get the knowledge about the effects of starvation that made them felt weak mentally and physically, therefore, they could bring this knowledge to use in their real life that they should not eat inadequate diets. Although the second stage of this experiment might torture the participants by giving them inadequate diets but I think it was not too cruel, immoral, or mentally and physically harmful because the participants were healthy young men and volunteered. In fact, the starving people in areas of the war are not only healthy young men but there are old people, children, pregnant people, and sick people that they can not patient with starvation like healthy young men. In my opinion, I think the researchers should study how to treat and recover the starving people and moreover they should research medicines or supplements for helping them the people get better and recover faster.
